Default Nitrous + Supercharger

What type of set-up would work correctley with a Vortec Supercharger on a 1998 Trans Am Ws6 with all bolt ons, 12 bolt, stall, low compression heads, and a turbo cam. I have been wondering if it is even possible. I really do not know that much so any help would be great. Thanks

if your car is blown, why do you have a turbo cam in it?

turbo cam was just a mistake in the thread. Sorry. I have not installed my parts yet and am waiting to see the route I take. I have purchased a Comp Cam before I purchased my blower. I was told I was going to need a turbo cam for low compression. Mabey I am completly wrong. If you can help me out that would be great. Also, Were would I spray if the charger is installed? Through the intake manifold? Any answers would be great. Thanks guys,
-Brian

well, the main difference between a blower cam and a turbo cam is that a turbo cam is a reverse split cam, and a blower cam is a regular split pattern cam, due to the effincies of the exhaust and intake setup on either setup. good luck.

also, I have Hooker coated longtubes and a hooker y-pipe. I just got rid of my SLP loud mouth beacuse of the no muffler. I am wondering what my best bet would be for a new exhaust. I was thinking about TEXAS SPEED X-PIPE would that be good with my set up? Or what would be better. Thanks

you dont need true duals but any good catback will work fine, personally i run a magnaflow its stainless steel, looks good and sounds good and is cheap. the hooker catback will work and is very affordable too.

Are you spraying just to cool the charge or to make additional power?

I WOULD NOT SPRAY ON A STOCK BOTTOM END unless you have funds to build a forged motor real soon.

I will be running a 75 shot thru my TNT F1 kit and soon to go to a 125. Take the others advice as well as mine. Dont not spray with a STOCK bottom end. Its worth the wait to forge it. With the TNT wet kit all you will have to do is either adapt the fernco to TB or drill into the inlet hardpipe. Good luck

You`ll need a 150 shot to go with your 10lbs for your car to be fast.

I plan on spraying along with the blower....just a small dry shot to help cool the intake air. It's a custom NOS dry kit with only one nozzle....and a few other goodies.

I'll start small by using the .28 ( half of a 75 ) and working my way up to the .32 ( half of a 100 )

I had the SMC Alcohol kit on the car and was never really able to put it to good use, the N20 should give me better results.
