water/meth=what a difference

just installed my snow water/meth this weekend and what a difference.even at 5#of boost made a huge difference.feels like a nos shot must have gained 75 hp but dont know didnt dyno yet.but before water/meth a second gear roll could not brake tires loose[bfg drag radiels]after I spin them down the street.helps with the humid weather too.

ill be installing my meth kit tonight/tomorrow and i hope to get results likt that out of it. Did you change ANYTHING else like timing or boost after ya put the alky on, or did you jsut slap the alky on adn go for a burn? GJ

hey boosted99camaro, I thought you couldn't use subframe connectors with an STS turbo kit. The only reason I ask is because I want to run sub-frames with my STS kit.

Im just using the same tune as before the water/meth for now.im going to play around with it when I get to a dyno I have a few nozzles to play with.but no I didnt change anything just put it on.

yes you can use the pass side frame connector.the boost tube for the sts kit is also a frame connector and a good one at that but you can cut the triangle brace off the slp frame connector and weld it to the boost tube if you want.

How much timing are you running right now? I haven't seen any change with more than 17*. I was thinking it would make a difference but apparently timing is not the key ( I went up to 23* and haven't seen a different power).
