Default 9.59 @ 146

Ran a new best last night.

60'- 1.48
1/8- 6.23
mph- 115.75
1/4- 9.59
mph- 146.00

Race weight is still around 3900. Running 28x10.5W tires. Full exhaust with cutout. Stock interior with only the back of the back seat missing.
Running Sunoco 104 unl. and spraying Meth. with boost peaking at 23 and only 16.5* of timing.

The converter is way loose and I'm having to lock it as soon as it goes into 3rd. Transbrake is also releasing to slow and allowing the car to roll before hitting. These two things are killing the car. Should have time this Sunday to get both out and adjusted.

Running again tomorrow at Milan. Might turn it up a tad and go for 150.

nope if he'd run it in the tech series he'd have to run it in outlaw modifed
in extreme you have to have a smaller turbo.

Nice run! (esp for the weight) Is that 88 a mid frame turbo or T04 based?

FU@KING AWESOME!!!

Nice seeing full weight cars go so fast!!

Do you think your converter is messed up or are you just overpowering it now?

How much gain to you think you have with the T-brake and new converter in at 23 pounds boost?

Both cars will be at N vs S. Not sure if I'll bring the CE to the other races. Kinda of long haul to bring a car that can't compete in any of the classes.

The turbo is a large frame. GTB-88

I'm just driving thru the converter. I asked them to set it up on the loose side so I could come up on boost easier. But the car ended up a tank with a bunch of power. So its a bit off. The brake isn't hitting hard like it should. Almost feels like your slipping the clutch in a manual car. This is what I get for being the first one in the world with this setup. I believe the car will pick up .1- .2 once these things are adjusted. I'm loosing a lot right now in the first 330'.

Does your 4L80E have a internal solenoid for the transbrake? I talked to my trans guy and the only way that he thought i would work is with a internal one, and he said it may be prone to creep and be inconsistent (heat soak). Hopefully Carl can fix you up though, he's one of the best out there. Your car is flying though.. Good runs!!

60' is good for a street car and picking up 31mph in the second half of the quarter is great. Nice mph... with more tuning you have 150mph+ in that setup.

What crank/rods/pistons/heads/intake manifold?

I ran almost the exact same time.. LOL.

How is the 4L80e working overall? Is it a Neil Chance converter?
