Is Speed Inc still making turbo setups?
last one i can remember i think they had a t88 buildup with 900+ rwhp, but that was prob like almost a year ago.
just curious to see if anyone has heard anything from them since they have those "elimator" kits.

i am like you. I want 800 rwhp. but I want a proven system. and I have yet to really hear about speed inc's eliminator kits.
Although there were some "minor" traction problems that car hauled ***. I have some video somewhere... I honestly haven't heard much about the kit, but after having some first hand experience in that orange car... I wouldn't doubt their product for a second. i belive not as many people have it because speed doesn't sell it as a kit, they do the install and tuning themselves (which I personally think is smart since they dont have to worry about putz's screwing up and blaiming their kit).
I wanted to go for a ride in their shop car really bad but just couldnt get up there

BTW Jim, do you have any of my BIN files that you could send me?
only thing i would want to change is boost controller, i have an eboost on the shelf Trending Topics
Our last custom setup was on Dans 95 Cobra (whom also works at Speed), which made 1020rwhp @20lbs boost. (347ci)
sent you a PM

Been driving the car around for about a month and a half. Getting used to her again after she's been down for a while. Havent posted nothing due to the fact i was waiting to break her in slow. Then dynoing over 20 +lbs of boost
.Since im running the stock computer and the Hptuners 3bar. They are still working out somethings when the boost gets over 17lbs of boost. I drives around town and highways perfectly! 93 octane or 100 when im just cruisin. Its been around 92 degrees lately. Runs nice and cool. Drove to indiana a few weekends ago too. The look of the kit alone is awsome. The engine bay looks great. There are a few in my pics in my sign. . Thanks again to all the guys at Speed Inc.. This kit is incredible
!! The sound of the car is amazing! Cant wait to go to the track

1fst99z: Trust me, here in chicago its horrible, and at times i get pissed that silverghost convinced me to take out my AC, but if you want to keep all those creature comforts, you shouldn't need a car that get 700+rwhp. 500-600rwhp is just fine for street purposes, and their are other kits out their that allow you to get that.
on a side note: are there any completely aftermarket ac units? i mean who says you have to use the GM one. as long as it works right?

My SS is a street / showcar. I drive it usually only when its nice out. So I didnt mind losing my AC. It was hardly used as is. Plus it helps having the corvette to kick around if its too hot. Being from Chicago its only really bad maybe 2 weeks out of the year
(which I drove the SS in). But being in the southern states. I see why you would need it. But if they ever figure something out. Thats a big plus
! You car looks just like mine did before I repainted it with the all chrome emblems. But you have those covers over your lights
