Damn nice runs for summer and hot.
I was also wondering what the race weight was 3450 or 3450 plus you?

Car was 3250, I am 200. I have been trying to do weight reduction for a while. Stock my car was 3425.

I corrected the 60ft on the 9.61 pass, it was a 1.49 not a 1.51 as I had posted, the 1.51 was my reaction time.

9.27@151mph... Is that Tory Hess? Regardless, hello! Car should drop a few tenths with some new slicks and more chassis tuning. We never played with the torque arm and it might be set too hard.

I'd like to pull 50lbs out of the car before NvsS.

LOL... 3580 3rd gen Formula? You have a stove in the back seat?
I'd like to be where you are by the end of this year, but 151mph would be a reach for me at this boost level I think. I could try to pulley down but I'd have to lean on Z8's to probably change the tensoner at that point if I tried to run a 2.75 or 2.80 pulley. I'm not sure if they even make a 2.80 pulley.

I was shocked at the weight too when I scaled it last year. Of course that was with a full tank of C16/pump, me suited suited up and all of the other stock **** I didnt need.

I worked on taking a lot of the unnecessary factory weight out of it this year. The stupid 4" Mufflex system was ten years old and weighed in at a portly 63 lbs from the y pipe to the muffler

I hope to have the race weight down to 3400 this year along with 6 more lbs of boost Should be interesting

My goal by the end of the year is to have it in the 8's and still street legal so I can play with some motorcycles on the street

Yah my old Mufflex was over 55lbs.

My 3" dual Magnaflow setup is not light but I don't want it any louder than it is now. I'd like it quieter actually. It's okay for the track but a little loud for my tastes.

I'd like hit 3400rw, I will need to do drag brakes or a lighter rearend. I think my 31 spline/locker 9" might be getting sold.

Thanks. I can't make power like John or some of these other guys, but I'll take my shot at the tree.

John,

What did you do to pick up that much mph? It's closer to where you should have been all along, just wondering what changed.

I'm wondering the same thing? Especially since you say it is down 75rwhp from what you use to have.

I went 10.3@131-136 last year, but was tossing blower belts every other pass. I was prolly getting about 550-600rwhp out of the setup last year. This year I got a custom strut brace from Z8's/8secLT1 (Sikora/Kurgan), that goes from the blower pulley to the crank pulley. We were able to really tighten the belt after that.

I did 21.5 psi early in the sprint on the dyno... but we redynoed recently and were only hitting 680rwhp this time, and 18psi. Again, could be weather, could be some other little things. At the 754rwhp level KP was prediciting 7.25@149 I think.
