So we went racing saturday
Me made the first pass on the "local test track" near the shop at 5:30 AM saturday
Then loaded up and headed for Milan.Having no time to dyno the car yet, we made sure it was set very conservative. Verfied the wideband and boost was safe and I mounted up my wideband display in the drivers line of site just to be sure

This being Kevin's first time in a turbo car, driving an auto with a brake, and using a line lock
, we flooded him with info on what to do while strapping him into the car. Of course, we've all been awake for 30+ hours at that point. The first pass Kevin launched the car soft, and shut it down early. rolling to an 11 something at 90 MPH i think. Nothing fell off, and all was well.
After a litte intergotaion on what the car did, some talk of the wideband showing leaner than I wanted (My only advice at that point was 12.00 or higher and lift), we let the car cool.
In the mean time, ran my truck

First pass, no cool down after the 1 hour drive, manually holding the boost to 5 psi for about 150 feet.
12.6 @ 109 with a 2.0 60'

not bad for a truck

Hot lapped it, trying a little more boost off the line and higher shift points.
13.4 @ 108 with a 2.5 60'

I did run it once more after some cool down, but that resulted in a 1 wheel peel past the 1/8th mile. Was a good smoke show. Poor posi

Anyway, back to the car.
I strapped in for the next run. We figured I could watch things a little better, having a little more experience with the setup.
10.3 @ 134, leaving at ~8 psi and seeing ~14 psi down the track and 11.7 on the wideband. I was confident the car was safe as it sat, so we could concentrate on getting Kevin use to the car.
After some coaching on the launch, and playing with shiftpoints (3 speed vs my 2 speed last year)
it went
10.8x @ 134
10.3x @ 134
10.2x @ 134
Kevin has the slips for more detail later, but they are out crusing with the car right now

All in all, the crew is quite happy with how the car has turned out. It's running right in line with my setup last year at the same boost level, so we should see that single digit pass shortly. Planning to give the Extreme Mod guys someone to chase at N vs S.

We built this car for the Extreme Mod class. We're now directing our efforts to dialing in the white car, and finishing up my car for the outlaw class.

The truck, Raj's car and Kevins car are all awesome.
I may have to convert my car from high comp to low compression and bring it to you guys for a little boost.

I guess the only way to find out is to go to their shop yourself. I don't think anyone wants to spill the beans just yet.
Congrats on the car Matt. I bet Kevin is one happy camper right now!
