Just remember that your car ran your times at your track, bring it to vegas and watch it lose .4-5 seconds and 4 mph LOL
Someone I know from vegas moved to texas and went from running 13.0's in vegas to 12.3's in TX. We just had a guy move here from South Carolina. I talked to him at the track, he was trying to figure out what was wrong with his car. It ran 13.2's there and was running 13.9-14.0's here LOL
PurEvl... heel boy, heel!

V6Bird, you really should quit trolling STS threads since all you do in them is spew your ignorance.

Funny **** Mike! Ps..im trying new words today, thanks for helping
jesus im usually the funny one but that got me good
I guess i'll chim in quick with my noobish .02.... STS kit... of the research and just
ing around here It's apparent pushing gases to a turbo 12ft back is well less than the most efficent way... if they were just as or more efficent i'm sure Subaru and every other factory turbo car would have them... they are easier to install... they make maintance under the hood more friendly.. there is less compromise on a/c etc... but the reality is they are not the same... It's like an LT1 vs LS1.. the math and all the number points to the LS1 to be superior... It's just that way... it's better... by no means is the LT1 junk but it does and will always have the disadvantage... its the same way the STS system.. yes it works and has proven gains.. but no way is that set up going to out perform the same set up with less piping.. the science works against it... So the STS does and will always have a disadvantage.. So inconclusion the STS IMO is a great set up, it's cheap and its easy to install and with a larger turbo and a great tune can produce mass HP/TQ. Also in my IMO if you are looking to have a DD the STS makes for a boost for little dollar....

bwaaaahahahahahahahah.....**** waffle assgrape?!?!?!?! That is by far the funniest thing I may have ever heard. When I went to login I started typing that in the login bank.
On a more serious note, Purevl your numbers are impressive. I haven't seen that many on an STS with those numbers, but I have only been doing some research on the kit for a short amount of time. What exactly does your setup consist of? I have considered maybe purchasing this kit in the future, but I don't plan on stopping at 500rwhp and I need to have a good plan before I start throwing money everywhere. It would also give me hp #s and expenses for this kit to compare to other setups.

Other than that you WILL run slower by quite a bit. I think the only slower track than us is bandemier, but I could be wrong. Our DA is almost always above 4500 and i've seen as high as 7500 a few times. I don't even go to the track that often and I know twice i've seen 7000+ DA Most people consider it the time until you reach full boost. Lag will vary depending on many many things, load and turbo size being the main two. Temp affects it as well. It takes me 300 rpms longer to reach full boost now that the temps here are 110+
I really appreciate everyone elses opinions though. And someone (probably many pages ago) hit the nail right on the head. I am wanting something for my DAILY DRIVER. I don't want to hit 200mph, or run 9's in the 1/4. I want something that is reliable, and makes the car more fun to drive.
but
I could have ate a can of alphabets and **** out a bettter post.
