2 step question...

I've got an STS kit and an M6. I keep hearing everyone mention needing a 2 step for an M6 car. I did a search and couldn't really find any good info on them. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what a 2 step is, and if I needed one or not on my M6 car. Thanks again for the help.

yes you need one. my car cuts 1.7s without one...1.5s with one

Only one for our caRS Is a Harlan 2 step...he quit making em so jump on one when you see it for sale

I've got one, and it does help a lot with a M6 car. I got mine right before Harlan stopped making them. The 2 step acts almost like a rev limiter at a set rpm. For example, I set mine to 4k rpm, and I can hold the car at that rpm at the lights, although I have the pedal to the floor. This allows the turbo to spool, and build boost. Then, once you let the clutch out, the 2 step is deactivated, and off you go. Hope that helps some.

I would suggest getting a rear end if you plan on running a 2 step. Something about dumping the clutch at 4k doesn't sound good for the stock rear!!

Or you can always discover the Discover card, and keep it handy!

A 2 step on a stock rear and driveshaft is bad news i hope u have something other than a stock clutch also. Need to beef up your drive train before u look at any kind of major power adder.
