Default Rear mount (STS) Dyno graph at 10 psi

This car sucks, it has horrible lag and doesn't make jack **** for power. I wish I would have bought a front mount setup.

Dyno was on a manual boost controller, boost went to 11 then slowly dropped to 9 psi by 6000 rpms, hence the power drop. The bump at 3700 is where I picked up 2.5 degrees of KR. I was working on tuning the alcohol setup at the time. Mods in sig.

The car has a much improved tune from this now.

F' the haters, they don't have a clue.

Serious question.....you have a cam, headers right? On paper your car should make say what, 350-360rwhp without the Turbo?

So you gained say 130-140rwhp with 10psi? Call me crazy but those gains seem a little low for a turbo setup.

I agree unless he is a A4 car. Then he might only make 340 on motor and be 10RWHP closer to normal results.
either way pretty nice numbers for a very cheep setup.

Not bad, but i dont see whats the point of being sarcastic towards front mount turbo or Prochargers setups. It is still making less than Prochargers runing the same mods with 7-8psi.

I'm not a STS basher but those numbers are low for 10psi.

Are they corrected?

:edit:

I noticed his cam - 112 - I wonder if that has anything to do with it

Seeing that Vegas is like 5000 DA + over 100*(probably 6500 DA), I dont think dynos can adjust for that extreme condition. In 80* closer to sea level that car would pick up 50-70 HP.

I would like to see a power per dollar comparison on some of these different setups. Plus, I like the turbo torque curve a lot better than centrifugal blowers. It may or may not be as good at the track, but it's a lot more fun on the street.

Show me some procharger/vortech dynos where the make 490-500rwhp on 7-8psi and still have stock heads and stock bottom end...

By the way, you seem to not understand the sarcasm part...he is not sarcastic toward front mounts or S/C's, but to all the haters that say sts kits suck! Get it now??

shouldn't a fairer comparison be, show me some procharger/vortech dyno's that make 490-500hp at 9 psi with a 11 psi spike on stock heads and bottom end. *scratches head*

just wondering why you think the supercharger guys should make equivalent power with less boost.

I know for a fact a Procharger at 10lbs will make more power than the graph he posted. All I can figure is the numbers are not corrected. PurEvl's graph is what I would expect from a turbo pushing 10lbs.
