Turbocharged C3 Corvette
That turbo you've got should be super fast. How much longer till it finished?
As far as the weight of the car, its going to be around 3500 lbs. It uses a boxed frame vs a unibody. You can do some weight reduction by using a composite spring from VB&P in the rear and do a conversion in the front. Not much to be had without putting some money into it.
I am pretty sure its doable but the first thing you have to do is ditch the stock fan and fan shroud setup and go with electric. I used dual spals with a Be Cool aluminum radiator. Opened up A LOT of space. The stock fan shroud pretty much eats up any available space in the engine bay so converting to electrical fans will help.
I gather from your post you don't own one just yet. They are notorious for running hot, the electrical fans take care of that issue. With the radiator positioned similar to 4th gen fbods, angled towards the driver, there should be sufficient space to squeeze a single turbo in there. Or you can route the stuff over the top of the engine like the PTK/Forced Inductions C5 setup.
