No way, man!
Baby steps, baby steps!

I think I'll have enough trouble hooking the power I'm hoping for!

Pro Stock John,

I know there is power being made at 346ci, but my goal is to create an environment where it is even easier to make that power, hence my fixation on the stroker.
I guess I'm suffering from 6 years of modding the vr4, a car I am pretty proud of.
The car is limited by the 181 cube engine, because there is only so much power to be made safely on a small engine.
I know there will be the extra expense for the stroker, but I really think it fits the overall goal for the car.
Maybe it will be too much torque for a street car, but I'd rather have to turn it down a bit!!

You know, you're probably right!!

I've always wanted to be able to break the tires loose at a highway roll!!

I have not heard of these girdle too much either but I just don't see a lot of help when the block is already a crossbolted block?

How come most people don't have them? Because most of us with our wimpy 500-600 horsepower engines don't need them.
