I'm getting just as old, I usually bring the camera but just forgot. It looks just like the 10.25 video with a bigger wheelstand

3.4 Pulley!

I hear ya man, I know it can go a few tenths faster, just want(ed) to see what the ol D1 set up was really capable of...when pushing it like I was with the 3.4 but lacked the air and track conditions.

Just to see what it could have done, **** just to see the ol set up helping out with awesome times like that still has me in awe.

Did you think it'd get to the nines this easy when bolting it together?

Great runs Kev

Yea I knew it would get in the 9s, just didnt expect to do it at the end of July around here. My goal was 10.0x so I figured it would hit a 9.9x sooner or later I may try the 3.4 and a 3.50 gear in the fall - then again you may see the car on eBay soon LOL.

I have built enough engines over the years, some even double the displacement of this one I have a block and crank, decent rods, nice pistons and all the stuff for converting to 99+ heads laying here just in case. Would actually be cheap to put a better motor in it bu may as well use this one up It uses no oil at all and runs decent, why fix what aint broke..

Congrats man. I was the small guy that came over with Darryl (Dustin Butts) to look at your car. My buddy was there with my camera and got your 9.90 pass on video. It's a 8mm camera and I have no idea how to post it up or I would.

Cool, if he can transfer it to the computer and e-mail it or mail a CD/tape I'd be more then happy to compensate him for the trouble. Its my first 9 second LS1 passes

Cool seeing you guys, Darryl's car looked pretty nice with the new wheels.

I have had no luck finding a gadget that will allow me to put videos from this camera on my computer. I will be at the North vs South Shootout next sat though, and would be happy to copy it to a normal VHS tape to give you. The quality of course won't be as good, but it's better than nothing. PM me and we can arrange meeting up sometime that day.

you can use a videocard like an ATI All-in-Wonder to transfer it if the camera has a video out port which most do. If it has usb/firewire then it is really easy.

To all you electronic guys out there the camera has S video out, A/V out, and RFU DC out. Maybe there is a way without buying something fancy.
