Hit 9s today at BG.
Figured I would have to wait until fall hit 9s but I decided to go to Bowling Green today and see if I could get a 9 second pass in the heat. Ran a 10.30 first pass, I just messed up. Next passes 10.13 and a 10.17 (1.460- 1.470 60'), so that was close enough to put a little effort into it I havent really worked on the 60' at all but I had a little time tonight so I finally made some changes I though would help in the tune, came right bacl with a 10.03, 10.05 and another 10.03 (1.430 60's). Tweaked it a little more since I was going in the right direction, let the car (and the outside temp) cool off for like an hour, ran a 9.901 @ 136.3 with a 1.398 60, then came around and ran a 9.93 with a 1.420 - spun a little.
Couldnt be happier, DA was 2000' on the 9.90 pass, seeing 12 psi @ 6700 with the 3.7 pulley/SDCE setup, still on the same belt I got from forcefed98, '01 Z06 cam, stock valves in the heads, through a y-pipe/hooker catback with the muffler taken off, raceweight right at 3300lbs. 60/40 104/93octane fuel. 1/4 mile MPH is down a little since I take a lot of timimg out via the IAT up high, I could care less about the mph.
Mods since the last best (10.25) was making a little scoop for the air filter to get some more air up there(see pic) and strange rear brakes, mostly getting a little more agressive on the tune down low and very good hooking track helped the most - plus some decent end of july weather.

Thanks guys, I didnt expect it to run this well in this weather. Honestly I'm still not even pushing it and I'm only running 15 degrees of timing above 6000 rpm. Still on the stock fuel feed line (V6 return) also.
no videos, forgot the camera
Dont know what you mean by incrementals but I'll be glad to post it if I have it

Good job KP. That thing is running good in the heat, 6.30 1/8 is awsome for a heavy *** street car. Now you have to run E/M at NvsS, your only a couple .10s off and the only one that can cut a light on you is Eric.

Its not that heavy though, its 3300 with my 220lb self in it it.
onfire, suspension secrets are: random tech stock style torque arm, BMR TH400 trans crossmember/arm relocation bracket. Strange silver series front shocks w/275lb springs set at 4, stock rear shocks, UMI relocation brackets in the middle hole, UMI rod end LCAs/PHB and 10.5X28 ET drags - thats it.
Levi, it is easy Actually the most inportant thing is having a wideband and a datalogger in the car, I'm still on the 98 PCM with a stock 78mm descreened MAF. Being able to log the wideband and make quick tuning changes at the track makes a lot of difference - I only had the car on the dyno one time AFTER I had tuned it at the track. If i was sitting on a peak HP dyno tune and running 10.25 like the last time I would figure thats it, its hard to get a good tune with an unlocked high stall auto on a dynojet.
Here are all the passes except one 10.17 (3rd pass) I cant find Cablebandit. Notice the 330' times, thats where the biggest improvement came from, it didnt run that much better MPH then the last time at BG, it ran 135.5 then but the weather was worse at 2800' DA. its all in the 60' and 330' no trans brake either, leaving at 2800-3000 off the foot brake.
BTW, anyone could duplicate this combo easy, nothing trick or unique about anything. Only 'custom' parts is the intercooler piping forcefed98 made but you can buy the pretty much same thing from synergy. I will admit I had my doubts on the SDCE tensioner at first but I have to say thats one of the things that makes it easier, not having to worry about belts and slip lets you turn your attention to other things.
