Go here: Waste Gate Spring Press.. Mine came with a green spring but I am not sure if its a large or a small... Large and Small is kind of subjective isn't it (and I couldnt find dimensions to define large and small anywhere)...

If it's large, the OD of the large spring will be just small enough to fit in the Tial wastegate. Small springs are made to fit inside the large spring, and if put one into the wastegate, the OD on the small spring will be about 1/4 inch smaller on each side when placed in the Tial wastegate...if that makes any sense to ya Josh.

I knew that much but not knowing what size the large or small is then how do you know how big the small needs to be to fit inside the large? (Not sure if that made any sense at all ) Just no reference diameters i guess... If it is a large green then thats like ~ 11 psi which is too big. The small green is ~ 5 psi. I am the kind of guy that likes to have hard numbers not subjective approximations, must be the engineer stuff...

Do you have the smaller green one? You may want to measure it to see if you have the same one I have or not...

BTW we are doing a great job @ hijacking BAT TA's thread

Ok, I just measured the spring and it's 1.5 inches in diameter and 3.25 inches tall and green. I'm hoping it's the small green 5.8psi spring and not the big 11.6psi one, but I don't know it looks pretty big inside the wastegate.

That's the small one, the big spring is quite a bit taller than the small one, I believe it's about 6-7 inches tall. I'll know for sure tonight, we have a ton of those springs layin' around I just forgot to measure them last night.

Okay I measured the 2 we had at the shop, these are for a Tial wastegate.

Small one was about 3 3/8 inches tall by 2 inches wide (OD)
Big one was 4 1/2 inches tall by 2 5/16 inches wide (OD)
