Default the first time u started it...

did your car smoke at all? well this isn't the first time ive started it, but its the first time ive had it on for an extended period of time (2+ minutes) since swapping out the cross over pipe. i did have an old power steering leak and it pissed all over the place, so im hoping/thinking this is the cause. but just wanna make sure im not cookin the turbo or anything worse (don't know what can be worse than that but who knows).

also what are the tell tale signs of a turbo being cooked? i haven't run this car into boost yet, but im sure the turbo is still spinning anyway, so just wanna make sure im not pissing 700 bucks down the tube. ive taken my oil return line off and oil spilled out, so im assuming that oil is circulating, but i just wanna be sure.

Yep mine smoked because it was burning off greasy hand prints off the pipes, new coating on the headers being baked on, and the thermal wrap on the pipes had to also "cook" too.
Cleared up pretty quick, bout 10 minutes of letting it idle.
