engine temp with FI
engine temp with FI what is everyones engine temp running at after its good and well warmed up?
what should it run at with a vortech?
what is considered to hot and should have someone look at it for me?
mine is running at about 195-200 or so but never higher then that
just wondering what is normal

I never had A/C with any of my setups.... with my old Procharger setup it would be about 185-190 with both the Iron block and the stock motor... Stock thermostat and a tune for a 160 stat but never put one in... and the single fan that was supplied with the kit from ATI.... we will se with the new setup.... to me anything over 215 and i start to worry....

I run about 195 in traffic w/ac on but I had it to 220 yesterday because I was beating on it in 95 degree weather.And thats with a becool radiator.I also run a meziere elec water pump to take a little strain off the belt.Magcharged.

one thing I do notice is that we all would like a cooler runner.I lowered temps alot with thr aftermarket rad.I couldnt run a/c in traffic in the summer with the stock radiator.I dont mean to ramble on but in defense of the stock radiator it was full of dirt,leaves etc and I could never get it as good as new.I think adding a good oil cooler would help.the vette has an oil temp guage the oil gets up to 250 sometimes.Engines are oil cooled also so this might help.
ok cool then. i was just wondering if i should worry or not b/c its at like 170 in my other car and in this one it is almost 200 so i guess im fine. sweet

Yea good point... a good oil cooler will drop your engine coolant temps.
