Actually, I have seen log type manifolds make over 1100 HP on a TT V8 application. The reason we're even entertaining the idea of a log manifold is that it would allows us to run a larger diameter downpipe, which I believe is a greater factor in the horsepower equation than a propery designed, stepped, log style manifold. The system we have here now is a tubular header. I also decided to make a stepped log type manifold as well for testing purposes. If the log manifold works well, we could then use the casting process in the future to further reduce the cost of the kit. Remember, cast manifolds are the most durable for street conditions. Again, this is just some down the road thinking and testing we'll be doing. For now, it's 100% tubular headers with 4 in to 1 collectors on each header.

Marko, this sound very cool. You mentioned how cast manifolds perform very well in a street-type application, and that is part of the reason I had previously mentioned the 6.0 truck manifolds. That, and the mainfolds can be had for a very good price, saving the labor expense of fabricating manifolds. Keep up the good work, we're all chomping at the bit to see those pics.

Marko,
That makes alot more sense on why you wouldnt sell just the hot parts. maybe you should order more of those. lol
the log style will work fine in a TT application, that is was CAS did

Its nice to actually see some competition in the world of F-Body turbo kits. Companies seem to come and go so fast there are few kits to choose from. I am glad to see another company step up and take the challenge.
Any lists yet of what will be included in the kit? Intercooler, BOV, wastegate, turbo, etc...
Thanks Marko!
