Those two threads should point you in the right direction. I myself should probably pick up those books and read them. Good luck.

I read Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. Very informative. A must read if you want to go Turbo. That way you gain more understanding of the systems.

Buy "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell... it should be a required reading for this forum hahaha. It'll be the best $20 you ever spent on your turbo setup!!

I don't know how much cheaper you can buy those two books. I'd think that 35 bucks is a pretty good price.

The Corky Bell book is very good... he also wrote one called Supercharged! (yes with the exclamation point).

That is a great read on *gasp* supercharging.

I borrowed "Maximum Boost" from my school's library. It's a nice read, albeit a bit outdated. At least it has the basics down. Corky made sure that the reader would actually understand the concept of turbocharging, as most people don't care much about the analysis. My fluid mechanics book has some hardcore info about turbomachinery. It's nuts, but easy to understand and apply if you know how to manipulate the Reynolds transport equation.
