Casper-Not quite there yet...
Turned the boost back to 32 for our next pass so it would leave faster. It shook the tires right at the hit and shattered the left rear wheelbearing. That is the second time it has shattered a wheelbearing from tireshake!
Oh well, time to clean Casper and Lisa Marie up for our openhouse. The Casper car will also be at Woodward dream cruise in a GM display. Not sure where the display will be, but I will post later in case you want to check it out.

Mike's Monte Carlo was at the track with Casper. He is working out some new parts. It ran a 1.03 sixty foot but was drifting left and he had to lift. He will be testing again soon.
No floater in this car Kevin. Just standard single roller bearings. We don't have the money to upgrade the rear end, but it sure would be nice.
I don't know the raceweight on this car, but I can get it. We will try and get it on the scales this week while we are cleaning it up.
The car won't be at any of the Tech events or Thunder. It does not fit any of the classes and was never built to really race. We just needed to test our LS series engine combo.
We are trying to get a 6 second pass out of the car before the Australian's do it. I think Hardcore is using a C5R head and block on there car so it does not really compare to ours. We are using a 6.0 iron truck block with a AFR replacement cathedral port head. It would have been a 404ci engine but I was building it for the Tech class when it had a 360ci limit.
