Any ATi Procharger Fbody's out there??
What sort of setup are you running – engine (cc/stock/built/forged) - bolt ons – boost – P1 or D1 – or anything else that’s relevant.
How do you find the blower, does it perform as you expected or what would you change if you could.
What options are available? Does anyone else offer an alternative to ATi’s own kit for the LS1 Fbody.
Does the Ati kit suffer from belt slippage like the Corvette kit? If so what alternatives are there.
Cheers for your help.
PS
Please keep it clean. If you don’t have anything positive or constructive to contribute, please don’t post it at all.

There are alot of guys running the kits. Most people go with the lq9 heads to lower the compression on there cars. Alot of the people here from what I read and search change the intercoolers out to a FMIC. For the belt slip issues the run they SDCE kit. A Forged bottom end is the way to go. Plently of sponsors sell them. They vary on cost due to what you want. For my budget I went with the stock crank. And alot of poeple have proved the stock crank will hold up to the power. Hope that helps. And dont forget about the fuel system. You will need it once you get up there

I got a p1sc procharger on my 2000 SS. I've had it for about 20k miles now. It is a 6 rib setup, i'm only making 5psi, but i got a little bit of nitrous on top of that. I would really like a SDCE kit, FMIC and put up the boost to 8, but unfortunatly i cant take the downtime of taking out my J bracket and shipping to SDCE and waiting for it to be shipped back. Also right now my 6 rib set up squeeks, i changed the idler pulley, and it didn't solve it, im gonna change the belt, hopefully that would do it. If you go with ATI, i suggest you get a d1sc with the SDCE setup. You can also get ATI 8 rib but i hear better things about the quality of SDCE.

I have both stock motor and stock P1SC kits and now I have a SDCE/FMIC D1SC on a little under stock compression with forged pistons (stock crank and rods) motor. I didnt really have a lot of problems with 7-8psi on the P1SC setup, mainly running hot with the a/c on and idler pulley issues with the stock kit.
Its not a bad setup the way it comes if you are just looking for a street cruiser but if you want to make some consistant decent horsepower and beat on the car a lot the SDCE setup is light years ahead of the stock ATI belt arrangement. Lot of different intercooler options also if you are going over 10psi also.
