It's already been said, but congratulations. I understand first-hand waht it takes to make a car run a number like that, how much time, effort, and cubic dollars it takes to reach your ultimate goal. But, it feels great on the trip home, knowing the hot rod tied down in the trailer made it all worth it.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. It feels like a weight has been lifted!
We only made 1 run today with Casper. We took the battery's and the shock control box out to try and get the Monte Carlo down the track. When I left Mike had just made a soft run to the 1/8 mile. His mph at the 1/8 was 173.......
Casper's 1 run was at a higher boost level than the 7.04 run at Milan. Mike was going to shift a little higher to help the boost stay up. When he shifted at Milan at 8400, the boost would go from 30 psi to 21 psi on the gearchange. The plan for the run was a 8900 rpm shift in both gears to keep boost up.
Car leaves line on 6500rpm rev limit with just over 20psi.
Engine goes to 32psi within .5 seconds with both wheels in the air.
Car starts to drift left in first, Mike pulls second early (7900rpm) to get wheels down and correct. Having a driver in the seat with his ability/PRICELESS. Boost drops to 21psi.
Engine recovers to 32psi in under .5 seconds and starts charging hard thru second gear.
Mike pulls third right at 8900rpm without a tach. (Driver/Priceless).
Goes thru lights at 205mph and pulls BOTH chutes. Lesson learned from Milan, 1 chute= sand trap.
Not sure what the 352 will do next, but some engine dyno time is in order. According to the info collected, we are over 1900hp at the flywheel!!!
