Default Is this setup looking alright?

Wanting to get front mount turbo, probably Hi-Flo from Marko. Shortblock is stock crank polished, Comp-Star Callies Rods with ARP 2000 bolts, Diamond ceramic top/oil shedding side coated flattop pistons -2cc vr, (rings were set for mid size @ 300shots of nitrous), cometic .040" gaskets, morel hyd roller lifters, LS6 oil pump, cloyes hexadjust w/ JWIS chain, cam will be from EDC current one is also for @ 300shots of nitrous kind of big for turbo 231/242 .630/.6222 @ 114, looking at a set of FFHP 6.0l heads unmilled or maybe others for lowering compression, LS6intake, ported TB.

I figure the .040cometics although will raise the cr a hair it will also combat detontation better so might make it a good trade off.

Ultimately would like the rev dome piston, but I already have this shortblock waiting to go in.

With a 0 deck height and going with a 3.905" bore and a stock crank using 71cc chambers because you didnt supply allthe info i came up with 10.13:1 comp..... if it was my motor and i was really wanting to go turbo id ditch the pistons and go another set.....

Now the above was with using a .40 thickness head gasket..... now with a MLS 6.0L head gasket you would be 9.81:1 because the 6.0L head gasket is .054.

Depends on how much boost you want to run... Dished pistons would def go a long way.

-.007 deck, forgot that part also. I have dished pistons, but want to do a better & bigger buildup. Guess it will be tuning vs. fuel vs. boost dependent.

How does it look with a -16cc Mahle Piston? That should put me in the ball park?

Ok, found calculator, and comes out to roughly 8.5 static. So, next in order is the cam selection to get dynamic. Guess I will take my still new on the stand shortblock apart and refit the rods with some Mahle power pak -16cc. Good thing their coated.
