Default New Ic Mounted

all in all it looks pretty good i think. just have to route the pipe to the TB. waiting my kit for the rest of it. any suggestions for securing the bottom 2 tabs? also threw in a pic of my radiator cover i made. looks alright for a freebie. the supporting brackets are underneith, thats just a cover, no support. also what do you think if the filter placement if you can see it in that same pic

You're gonna have to make me one of those radiator supports when I got MAF less

That looks bad ***. Your car is PIMP.

I'm always interested in TA FMIC set-ups. I'd like to know what everybody's doing. I know it's not easy for us, Firebird/TA owners. I still worry about how I'm gonna get mine done.

Kaos, really nice pics, man.

my father in law and i fabbed up a bracket for the bottom. solid as a rock, just as good as the bumper was. as for the bumper i just cut out that area where the front plate would go. not much air but its something. i dont know what else to do. copied my setup from frcefed98. his looks awesome. and the piping is copied off of hellraiser. those guys have real nice setups. the only way to do things in the world of ls1's is to just copy someone else's setup or at least get ideas from it. as for that rad shroud, well you would just have to see it. the brackts underneith are sort of ghetto but they hold very well. thats just a cover. no support there. once again thanks for the compliments. hope to get it done soon

Looks awesome, I like the radiator cover too. I didn't have to hack much of my bumper cover off on the bottom, just past the 3 tabs that were on the cover and then it wrapped up nicely to the bottom of the FMIC support. Great job and thanks for the props, glad I was able to help out

and why would you/we have to worry about curbs to the poster up top? I've never had an issue with curbs with my old FMIC set up(mounted to the bumper support) and this new set up which I fabbed up a custom FMIC support...the bottom of the FMIC comes nowhere close to hitting parking curbs....

Keep up the good work and post pics of the IC piping too,
J

got a pic of how you made the front bumper hook up. i ended up using the bottom of my bumper for the bottom mounting plate. not sure but it might just go right back in place? didnt really think of it till now.
