Will I need a different MAP sensor?
Any help?
My engine is being built to withstand about 20 pounds of boost. I am going with Diamond pistons, Callies rods w/ARP bolts and ARP studs with billet main caps.
I am new at this, as I am sure it shows, but I don't know what to expect from this combination and have no idea how much boost I will end up with the first time I open it up. I have heard about the amount of boost being determined by the effeiciency of the flow of the engine, but I do not know how efficient it is going to be or what pulley to start with.
If you convert to Speed density with HPT, you'll need the appropriate MAP at that time.
on a 408, you won't need 20 psi to get you power goals. Pump fuel will be interesting though

But my opinions are in the minority on this board.
