Default quick FI and N20?

what is keeping us from having a S/C or a turbo and spraying a large shot on top of it? 150+shot in DP

going ot go with DD, there are alot of imports that are running n2o to spool up the turbo and get them out of the hole, and then they kill it uptop once the turbo is finally spooled.

plus the fuel logistics would get a lil expensive, as to do it right youd need another fuel cell and pump to make it work right. if you took that much fuel from the rail youd kill pressure.

Alot of the big boys that drag race use liek a 50-100 shot to get thier enormus turbos spooling. And when they get moving they stop using it as the size turbos they are using will make all the power they need. GL man

You need the right fuel, right amount of fuel, and the tune to handle that much power. 1dirtyz has had a setup like that.

On my SBC I run 11 psi from a blower and a 300 shot.
Camaro weighs 3750 with me in it and just pulled a 9.85 @140 on pump gas.

Wow a 300 shot... What do you run without nitrous?

I don't know what 1dirtyz sprays, maybe 150-175...?

I've got a little dry kit around, I wonder what a 75 shot would do...

so what would keep some one from running an STS kit with a 200 DP on top of it?

NOTHING

there is nothing stopping anyone from running a turbo and a supercharger, then a shot of nitrous on top of that.

The onlything holding you back is your pocket book.

I guess people would rather just turn up the boost rather then spend extra money...

One good thing about the combo is, your injectors don't need to be capable of delivering all of the fuel. They only need to be big enoughto support the blower or turbo. A wet nitrous kit delivers the rest of the fuel.

If you are builing a race car then this dosen't concern you much, but if its a street car that has to idle then huge inectors are better to tune than rediculusly-huge injectors.
