nothing sounds better than a loud supercharger. Especially a 8-71 blower on a big block!

at car shows/cruise ins the superchargers always get the crowd going.

Or on the water when you see a 42' fountain Lightning with 3 14-71 blown big blocks. Wow does that make a cool sound idling by.

I still vote with the high piched scream of a turbo at full boost. God I love that.

When you pull up to stop light and everybody looks to see which car has the supercharger on from the sound of the whine, thats when you really love what the sound does.

Not really. I just start to look for a beater because I automatically think "Belt problems."

Please don't anybody be upset. I was just KIDDING. It was too easy!

I like some belt whine, I do. Look at my above post with the KB Cobra for some badass belt whine. Seriously, though, FBODY LS1 SC sound like "belt problems," except for Procharger, which I think is pretty quiet at idle. Would be nice if we had a KB blower for us! That would sound nice!

Makes me look around for the poser with a Pete Jackson noisey *** gear drive trying to fake a vortech. It's still a sweet sound though. As long as my own car dont make it its cool, just not turbo KeWL.

You guys do know what break spooling is????????? Its when you start breaking but give it full throttle at the same time. And push the brakes so you stay in one spot while rolling(kinda like stalling up a trubo car from a roll) and then when you at full boost etc from a roll you rocket forward. Also nice when your pulling in a car show etc.

More supra guys need to learn how to do this.

Nothing tops a centri at idle. Turbos are always trying to rev it up. You guys try too hard. Us blower guys can just chill out and let the attention come to us.

For me to install a blower, it would have to be at least this loud, no less. The LS1 blowers I've heard are too tame... IMO.

BTW, I know it's a Supra, but it's because of this sound I'd never get an SC. This was posted here some weeks ago. Unrivaled freakin sound! Pure bliss!

I don't think all KBs sound like that one... I actually find that sound to be annoying as crap.. especially since it's only near idle speeds.. damn.

There's one KB sound I really like... the Sonic Blue KB Cobra that has 600rwhp and is just cruising along side of another car... then he gets on it....

just to clear some things up. that vid was of a cobra with a cog drive system on the blower. thats what the wine was at idle. positive displacement blowers dont make noise unless you go 80%+ throttle.

you can hear my turbos at idle after the engine gets to operating temp. that is a side benefit to having no muffs.
