longonb4u i think it may work good on a regular set up shorter distance for air to travel i hink that cam would be good if it was like 224/220 the higher intake will cause it spool faster and be more efficent through the rpm band i wish i would have went bigger in the 427

I am still trying to figure what I will do about my engine... Simply pull the 347 and harden it or if I will go with a stroke, or even a 6.0L Iron block. I am trying to figure out what is the best bang for the buck.... Dollars spent vs HP Return

Jarred, we will have the results of the 226/220 .570 .564 115 cam in a day or so. That should give you a good idea if you want to go a different direction with the cam. This is stock c.i. with forged rods and pistons (flat tops), stock #317 heads with 918's, stock exhaust through an A4 with a small stall

Tourq is what get you going. I want more TQ than HP because the more you have the faster you are from a dead stop. I think its that cam because of the duration on the exhaust side and the heads. Those heads flow better than my 241 and my not match well with that cam as far as valves sizes I am by far no pro but I tried to match my cam with my heads after the small port polish work Comp was real helpful but that cam was for the 346 and i put it in the 427 so i dont know how it will do my number for the 346 where on a zo6 clutch fidanza fly wheel and stok 10 bolt with 373 i dont know as for 1/4 maby high to mid 11 maby high 10
