Not yet. We've developed an additional problem....we keep blowing the SLP MAF apart. When Ed Wright tuned the car, it was tuned for the 85mm MAF, and it seems to be the only MAF the computer will respond to now. This MAF is actually two pieces, glued together, unlike the stock and Granatelli's which are screwed together with an o-ring seal.
At 15lbs with the MAF cracked AFTER the meter, loosing boost and running at an A/F of 9:1-10.5:1, it dynoed 660rwhp and the tq was off the graph (over 750rwtq). I only took the engine to 5400 rpms. Judging by by the previous dyno figures, it should have pulled over 700rwhp had I took it up to 6200rpms.
When I let off, it blew the meter completely apart. We are modifying the MAF now, as well as installing a blow-off valve. But it'll be another week before we can get a dyno day scheduled.
We'll keep you posted.

Rob, have you considered converting to pull through instead of blow through? Possible to do???, I don't know your setup to well...

well it's an extremely traction limited run and was made with 1 cracked piston but it's all I have right now.
vortech 9psi
2.73 gears
a4, 2800PI
BFG Dragradials
hotcam
self ported heads
3650lbs
1.97 60ft
100.27 1/8th mph
11.47&123.22 1/4et & mph
The motor is going back together with ts1 gapless rings, stock cam and a better flowing intake port.
The idea is to bring down the rpms and make it more streetable while being as fast or faster than it was with the same 2.73/2800PI combo.

Those are GREAT numbers!
It's been a general understanding in such lists that the car is capable of still running similar times as what is posted in the list.
I can see both sides. What you DID in the past is informative, but does it qualify as a currently boosted car?
You guys tell me what you think... do we include in the list times on vehicles that are no longer running? I'm open to arguments (polite ones, that is ).
This is not a slam on anyone who would LIKE to be on the list... but I think you maintain a ranking based on current ability. That's my vote.

1.97 60ft
100.27 1/8th mph
11.47&123.22 1/4et & mph
hmmm...
When I ran 10.98 @ 125.83 MPH in the qtr, my 8th mile was 7.07 @ 99.5 MPH and I had a 1.63 60'
What do you attribute the fast trap speed in the 8th, and slow time in the qtr. Did you start losing power at the end? Without the cracked piston, that thing must be a monster!

I like leaving it on there even if they are not active because it gives you an idea of what you can do with a similar setup.

I agree. It IS informative, and acknowledges what they've accomplished. I'll put up a "Benched" list for our inactive FI buds.

My car is still staying supercharged, it's just down right now for a piston R&R.
The only big change will be going from the hotcam back to the stocker.
I want instant low end reponse back to better pull the 2.73/2800 stall as the car is going to be more street than strip from now on.
To somewhat make up for that loss in camming, I am going to increase the intake port flow and with a fresh set of ts1 gapless rings and 8 strong cylinders instead of 7.5, the motor should be making close to the same topend with more midrange and lowend.
You can bet the car will still run those numbers and probably better.
As for the good 1/8th and somewhat slow 1/4..
well the slow 1/4et is strictly from lack of traction.
You can subtract at least 5 tenths in the 1/4 had the car hooked up well to a low 1.60 high 1.50 60ft like I should.
The 1/4 trap mph with 2.73 suffers quite a bit.
I have run 11.22 at only 114mph before the supercharger on the bottle with 2.73.
The rate of accleration once you hit 3rd gear (2.73 final drive) is very flat. But it pulls very strong through the 1/8th.
I used to run 3.73 and on the bottle it was just as fast through the 1/8th with 2.73.
I use 2.73 now as they are very strong, quiet and as you can see still pretty fast.
A set of 3.73 would add at least 3-4mph to the trap speeds I run by keeping the motor under full boost the entire 1/4 but this motor would snap them in no time(stock 10 bolt).

well its no longer active (cablebandit') but it ran the time in the sig.
6-speed, low compression, cam, nittos, single turbo 7.5 psi, 3.73 gear, 3650#
dyno in sig(lower boost) approx 450 horse/475 tq at 7.5 psi.
i do plan to supercharge if that makes a difference
dang i forgot.. 1.99 60'

It's interesting to see the difference other gear ratios make.
