Would a BOV help a supercharger???
Are they normally used on stick shift cars?
Bill
The blow off valve provides a place for the air to escape. Keep in mind this air is already "metered" in mass air controlled vehicles, so "venting" to the atmosphere is not a good idea, usually you will vent back into the intake circuit so the metered air just goes in a circle.
Hope this helps,
Chris
My ATI Procharger has a Purge Valve that relieves excess pressure after coming off the throttle.

only if you put the BOV after the MAF, before the MAF and vent to atmosphere all you wnat

I'm unable to think of a configuration in which the MAS sensor would be on the high pressure side and would allow what you described. I'm not familier with the TT setups on the LS1's but on say a Vortech kit the MAS is on the low pressure side, so any venting of high pressure from post compressure side is alrady metered and would cause a rich condition due to the amount of air being lower then what the computer thinks is the there.
Just wondering if we are on the same page with this? Are you describing the same thing I am? Or is say on a TT setup the MAS is on the HIGH pressure side so you could vent pre-MAS sensor.
