Cool, glad you guys are persuing this design for the Fbody. More room to route the DP for us. Glad my coils are already relocated too

Cerra was a shop that made a C5 single turbo kit a few years ago. Earl, one of the posters on this board, has one and makes over 700 rwhp with stock cubes.

I think it would be great if someone could get a single turbo on the market for $5K.

how long do you think before the F body kit would be started? Also if you were to guess how much for just the hot parts?

Can't wait to see some results. I've been in the market for quite some time for FI on my low CR408. It's just everytime I'm about ready to pull the trigger, my car has issues. I'm finally there and ready to buy. I hope this deal works out!

Very cool kit and price. I also like the idea of being able to just buy the hot parts.

Oh, there are some 'vette guys lurking around.

wow that would be awsome a kit with no vette tax

what size is that up-pipe/ y-merge. is that 3", it seems a git bit.
might gain some clearance if you switched to 2.5", heck there are guys making 1500hp with a 2.5" merge.

nice kit very inovative.
but ya id hate to change those spark plugs. Hopefully the downpipe is as easily removable as you said.

Based solely on pics of this kit and having seen the Cerra kit in person (both uninstalled and installed) I can say they are not similiar at all. The Cerra kit was a very basic (and quite frankly ugly) Log manifold setup that made the QMP kit look like a work of art. This setup... while it looks like you will have to relocate many more items also is a much better design from a power producing standpoint.

Unlike the camaro, the corvette has many more space constraints to battle. the only thing that we can tell that some people may not like is we had to modify one hole on the A/C compressor in order to keep a 3 inch downpipe. i will post pictures of this modification a little later. we also moved the bottom radiator/air dam support forward about 4 inches for clearance of the turbo and charge pipe. the kit will come with a tial 50mm BOV and a Tial 46mm waste gate that will vent to the down pipe. we dont have this in the pictures but it will be right at the collector at the turbo.

the base kit will more than likely come with a .5 bar spring and a manual boost controller with an optional electric unit. the intercooler has a 24*12*3 core that will support 850 HP. the tubing will be mildsteel coated inside and out with the option of stainless steel. we hope to have the kit done in about two weeks and then we will start the testing on the track, street and dyno.

below are a few pictures of the kit. within the next week or two there will be more pictures with the coated pipes and the charge pipes.

thanks
brad
You should have a big seller on your hands provided you can fill the orders in a much quicker turn around time that most turbo companies currently provide. Bob

ouch just noticed that too, how do you plan getting the radiator fluid to the t-stat? might have to move the drivers side pipe down a little...

also where is the waste gate plumbing going? i can see you putting it right on the face and routing it back into the DP really easy.

Scott, if you go edit the pricing for the Vette guys, to include the Vette Premium/Tax, then you could make it even more affordable for us F Body guys j/k to the vette owners...

Very nice looking setup and will be watching this one as well.

That is the sweetest looking turbo setup I've ever seen. Seeing it wrap around the motor in such an organized manner looks nice.
