my brother has a 331 with heads/cam/headers/exhaust/9psi and once dialed in expects about 500 at the wheels.
between 500 and 600 at the wheels I would think is very doable for this guy depending on his combo.

Re: How fast would this mustang be? I would tend to agree with arpund 625 rwhp or so...a friend of mine on 12 psi and and all of the bolt-ons dynoed 575 to the wheels on a stock 302 (of couse, the block cracked on the dyno) <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I was thinking something in the 550 to 625 rwhp as well, but really wasn't sure...
either way, it's almost definit I can't beat him, even with the 150 shot, but it should be fun...

How fast would this mustang be? There is a guy at the gym that has this set-up, and wants to race...
I know I will lose, but will I just lose?

he has a 1991 foxbody, with a 347 that is running 8# of boost
he claims close to 700 rwhp...
does that sound believable?
my mods are in the sig, and I will run a 150 NOS shot!

Re: How fast would this mustang be? I'm the perfect person to answer your question! my previous car was a 1990 LX with a 347 and a blower running 12 #'s!. If he doesn't have a fuel system (2 big steel braided lines coming from tank) then he is NOT running over 500RWHP NO MATTER WHAT (if he is, its leaning out and will blow head gaskets)! Mine made 533RWHP & 587RWTQ on pump gas with 12 #'s. It only went 11.90's @ 123 on street tires. so, if he just has a 255 intank pump and a vortech in-line T-rex pump then he aint making over 500RWHP Period point blank. The best thing to do is race him when his car is hot, it will run really slow then.

Re: How fast would this mustang be? Race the Mudstain!!! If what everybody is saying is true it should be a close race. WhAt do you have to lose if that Rustang is braggin up 700hp. If you lose to a 700hp car its no big deal but if you win its even better!!!!
