Well I never thaught I would see this post again. Here is the lowdown. I got the intercooler installed in the front bumper support. the air was comming in from the of opennings of the camaro front grill. Nick the Owner of the car just ran out of funds. He is in colledge and did not plan for all of the cost with this project. My labor was free and I spent some of my own money to help Him allong. Just was not enough. He needed his car so we put it back to stock. We sill have all the set up and now he has a tube k member. all we lacked at the time was plumming air into and out of the turbo. At that time we also need the edit which he did not have the money for at the time. I have not talk to him about contiuing the project again. I was ready and had done most of the work. I guess we will see.

What do you think the tubes need to fill up. I do agree though that more tubing will cause more friction in the system but I dont think it is negligible.
Um, have you thought about a scattershield? Seriously, have you ever seen a big bad buick turbo disentegrate and send the impeller blades through the housing and through the hood of the car? I can't find any pics (I've seen them before at various places), but it has happened. If you run over something, and your oil line goes, and you're spooled way up and the shaft siezes, but the impeller keeps going and walks through the housing, you could have a 70 series turbo charged passenger...
