Default Lets talk fuel and FI

Ok I recently got to see 1 kick *** fuel system. A sumped fuel tank, huge pump, and massive feed and return lines. Custom rails, and massive injectors. ALL on a 99 cobra

Well I know for the ATI stage III kit i got they supplied me with 42 pound injectors and a big aermotive inline and a boost regulator for the fuel pump. Well This looks like it would be fine for my levels but I don't see how it will make it past 600 rwhp. Well What all is required to go past the stock fuel lines and rails and intake pump. I was thinkin a intake and inline (im no how big my aeromotive is) (and also because if i run below 1/4 tank the car won't stall from being all external pumps). And custom feed and return lines and rails. Well im guessing the whole stock system would have to go and you would have to regulate the line and all. Im a newbie to this so whos dove into this alrdy?

I know harlan is making 570+ rwhp on one walbro intank pump with the stock supply line so that should get you close to 600. I think his pump is close to maxxed right now. Angostino probably knows when the stock fuel lines become a problem

I plan on doing the sump and big pump along with the new bigger lines. I plan on staying away from a fmu if I can so I will be running very large injectors. Once we get the system worked out the place where I'm getting mine will start selling the complete fuel system in kit form for a 4th gen f-body.

Yep, pump and injectors are maxed on my setup right now

Operation "Fire Hose" is under way for my build up. I have the first batch of fittings and y-blocks, Comp. Eng. tank sump, and '98 steel tank. Sump location is layed out on the bottom of the tank and awaiting "tweaking" of the sump to ensure a liquid tight weld.

As a base, the fuel system i've decided on should be able to support upwards of 1000 HP w/ boost

As they say, watch this space for details and pictures. As always, the install and part numbers will be documented on my web page

Are you looking for just the rail, or the complete system?

I'm setup now w/ the 97 rails, full feed and return lines, walbro intank, fuel pressure tap at the rail, and SVO 42's

The whole system is coming off the car. I'd like to unload it in one piece as the pieces aren't any good to the average user one at a time

If all the pieces will work on a 98, hit me up when the time comes.

I may need that fuel system in a couple of months.

Thanks.
