Rob, Sounds like a great package you've put together. I sold the GN (to much work)& would be interested in this set up if you would take my TTS header set up in trade. Lee Thompson & i are looking for a 6.0 block to convert to an 8.5 cr. & Let me know the progression of this set up of yours. BOB NEESE

Hey Rob, sorry about the other thread. Just had a few burn'n questions. Anyway, who will be turning the wrenches at the new shop? Also, some of the people in your area have seen the other thread and have sent me some interesting e-mails. They don't seem to like you much...so I guess they are local competitors or something. You must have beach slapped them with your turbo ride or something. I think they are making stuff up or something(Thus, I have blocked them...don't waste anymore time trying to e-mail me). I mean, who would actually put a head gasket on upside down? I guess there are buttholes that hate to see a man doing well. Also, could you e-mail me when you get the trans package together? I would like to know more about it.

BoostJunky, I'd be real interested to see copies of those emails. I'm just curious how many other people they are sending them to. But to answer your question, I'm sure there are several local businesses that don't like me very much. And for the most part, I think you're right. I've raced them at the track and it's like anything else. When you're on top, that unfortunately makes you the target.

We have two mechanics right now. One worked at Felker Racing for two years, and then most recently the local Pontiac Dealership. He's been helping us out part time on my Turbo Z28 since day one.
The other mechanic has been a licensed Aircraft Mechanic at UPS for the last 8 years. He's been doing much of the design work on our own turbo kit. He even built a one-off single turbo kit for his '85 Corvette. With a T-60 turbo, the stock TPI, stock tuning, and only 4lbs of boost, it made 400rwhp. He'll be doing most of the R&D work on the single turbo system for the C5 (on his own '97 C5) next. Both of these guys are great.

We'll keep you posted on the Tran Pkg as well.

Thanks for the heads-up.

This is one of the oldest threads on the board. I'm sure there are older ones, but this board has only been around since October of 2001'ish.

WOW.

No worries, we're just joking around with you.

If you have questions use the stickies at the top of this section and read about the different kits and important things to keep in mind. Sometimes it's better to just scroll through the last 3-4 pages worth of threads and most likely you'll find some good general information in those threads.
