"The Powerdyners"... I like it!!!!
Is there an intercooler kit for this one???? otherwise it could be 100 psi and it wouldn't matter, it's not usable for me.
Underdog: What do you consider "impressive"?

I dunno. It appears they are marketing it as a pure head unit swap.
Kilroy, with your cam and exhaust are you still seeing a full 6psi?
what rpm does the boost hit? just curious as I have yet to romp on mine since the pulley swap.
2-3 week countdown til ls1-edit arrives then the fun begins

impressive to me is similar 1/4 numbers with a stock motor and nitrous. say mid 11's. oh, and NO overheating problems. also, water injection works soooo much better than intercoolers.

With the new pulley I am still seeing 6 psi in the upper RPMs...
I haven't been paying attention to what RPM the boost comes on, I'm too busy watching FP IATs and KR!!!!
I'll get on it tonight on my way home and keep track of the RPMs & report back to base.

Well, some people wouldn't consider a 2.027 60' on a Vig 3200 stall very impressive, either, compared to guys cutting 1.9s on stock tires/converters, so I guess that means they should get a Yank...
and for poor guys like me & Blackbird, it was Pdyne or nothing.

as soon as my ls1-edit gets here I will be tweaking like crazy and bringing the h20/alky injection online. In theory I should be able to run full timing once it's dialed in. Then we are talking some giddy up!
after I get it all figured out, if you want, I can give you the lowdown and walk you thru mimicking my setup. These little PD's with h20/alky injection will be hanging with the twice the price ATI's and Vortech's before ya know it
Before anybody goes nuts over the twice the price comment. We both picked up our blowers for ~$2000 thus my comment is legit

not saying you made a mistake...but why spend money on something that isnt proven in its stock form yet. and if you can cut a better 60' with a vig3200 and STREET tires with little prep, let me know.

I agree with ya there. Don't buy this kit in its stock form expecting it to work as well as the vortech or ati. Defintely a tweakers kit thus I always push not buying it new. Only worth it if you can get a good deal used.

I have seen the kit before. I believe you have to tap the oil pan. Not sure if I want to do that. Also, I kinda like the fact that no one knows it is blown. Stealth mode. I am anxious to see what my car will do this weekend at the track. I will report to the other "Powerdyners" what it hits on a stock SS M6. Any predictions?

4.5 pulley, but I am sure it will hit 6#. I hit 5.5# at 5500 rpm. I usually shift at 6200. I will have the xylene in the tank for insurance. I will be on street radials. I was trying to find some nittos, but couldn't get them in time. The only other mod I have is a Borla catback.
