About a week aga I installed the #7 pulley on my ati base #4 kit, now I see #5 boost. (if this matters) after the pulley install, fuel pressure was 64ish at idle and cruise, then on hard boost around 5000 rpm fuel pressure would increase to 80ish, which ati said is good.

the other day my wife noticed that fuel pressure is at 60! told her if she is driving it to watch fuel pressure. today on my way to work I smashed it and FUEL PRESSURE WENT down to 58 rather than increase at all. Hopefully this one time at #5 boost without correct fuel pressure didn't hurt.

Is my fmu bad??? Is there something I can check on the fmu? calling ati now. This has me so disturbed I took off at lunch for a sick day!

about to rip off the charger and wait until I can afford the GWP stage 2 to put it back on.....

all tapped out for cash now but I wish I could go to the stage 2. Ati said they'd call me back in 1 hour it's been over 2 still no call!!!! calling them BACK!!!!

just talked to ati

they said to remove the vaccum line on the fmu, check for vaccum. Did it plenty vacum
also said pinch braided fuel return line and see if fuel pressure goes up high, it did.
I called them back and they said that it is the fmu. they want to get mine and have it 3 days to rebuild. I asked for a new one and promised to send them the old one, they want a credit card to charge me for the NEW ONE THEN CREDIT WHEN GETTING THE OLD ONE!

I spent so much owith credit cards I can't even cover a new one. this is really pissing me off. $5000 for JUNK. I will post results.

A couple of the guys with FMU's said some adjustment on it would sometimes move. I'm not familiar with it because I have GWP's Stage II.

I just would not bother with the FMU route if I were deviating from the base kit parts (like a pulley change). If it needs more fuel, I believe in larger injectors and programming.

My 2cents.

I'm sure someone with the FMU could give you some help.

Also, with GWP's Stage II, Jason would be helping you figure out any problem you might have right about now...

I like the Procharger, but must admit I see more people post about trouble with the FMU... at least those that try to do things beyond the base kit.
