Is it true marko blew up a running car doing some donuts? The car was built with excess compression though so you really cant blame marko. I heard it was something like 11:1 Cant blame him for that blowing up! But that would have been another running car that was out.

So how many kits did they really sell? As in..they said 20... but how many did they really take deposits on that were not refunded?

LOL, I have had more kits on my car in a year than they delivered. I am in search of the perfect kit..that being affordable, durable, reliable, controllable, functional and easy to work on...IE change plugs. I have just started what should be my 2nd to last kit.

To you patient High Flo customers, many of us followed the saga, and feel bad what you have gone through... its a terrible thing to have spent a year anticipating and occassionally stressed, over something that is supposed to be fun. We realize it can ruin the fun. You last few are a resilliant group!

I was so close to scrapping my whole Procharger setup to go for the HiFlo kit. They announced the kit literally 1 week before I was going to install my blower cam and get it all installed. My instincts wouldnt let me, good thing.

Hell... I wouldve STILL bought a HiFlo kit had things went well, I still have the itch for a turbo but I am absolutely loving my Procharger at the moment.

Good luck to those still waiting..

I hate to dig up an old grave, but does anybody have any pics of this, or know where the new location of the evaporator is? None of the old pics are showing up anymore.

I'm installing a hiflo kit I bought used on my car as we speak. I gave up on the a/c relocation however. Its an extremely tight fit between the downpipe and the compressor, and the evaporator wouldnt fit on my car where it had been placed on this guys car. I've scoured this site looking for hiflo install pics, see page 5 of this thread for the a/c relocation pics on this guys install..

Is yours a 6 speed abeasst? I've got a stock A4 radiator (pretty sure its stock or stock replacement) and I couldn't get the radiator to come forward far enough with the a/c condenser in front of it to get the radiator from hitting the downpipe or crossover. I'd love to make this work but I kinda ruled it out when this happened.

The Hi-Flo company is no more. The only place you're gonna find any of their kits/parts is from previous owners...and only about half a dozen completed kits appeared on finished cars.

Search the board, there were several reasons they went under but they are no more.

Well while this post is up, my kit could be for sale if someone is looking :o Still new, never been installed. If not it'll be going in after I graduate. I'm glad you guys are still around so I know of all the problems that may or may not arise when mine finally goes on.

I assume you got all of your problems worked out and it's running well 52172? Did you have to fab or alter anything besides denting the dp?
