No not really. Kit fits pretty good. I believe the shop had to heat up the crossover pipe to help it clear the radiator and they did end up swapping fans it still is a pulling fan, but it is thinner and uses a different shroud. Other than that the kit has held up fine and car runs great.

I have a 6-spd. The downpipe was really close to my radiator but did just barely clear on my T76GTS.
