Default water/alky tuning complete

well it's all dialed in.

went from being able to run 15 degrees advance to 24 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I will take it to the dyno perhaps this week or next to see what kind of HP gain I got.

pretty sad though. I know I'm pushing over 400rwhp and 400rwtq now and it still feels slow <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

must be something wrong with me <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Glad to hear everything is coming along heath. I don't get my blower back for another two weeks=(. It doesn't matter because I just broke my hand. So I am out for about 4 to 6 weeks which sucks.

Ouch!

Sorry to hear that.
Hopefully you don't mind if I hold on to the atap cable a bit longer.

Just email/call whenever you need it back and I will drive it on over.

Thanks again for letting me borrow it.

Don't worry Andrew, I will shoot a mail your way with all the details so you can duplicate.

Heck since you have a 98 I can even send you my .ls1 file assuming you get youself ls1-edit to help give you a start on dialing in the spark curves.

Now the anticipation to see what kind of improvements were made <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

P.S. Sig update after I get the new numbers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

BTW why wouldnt you want to run just alky? I have been reading up on some GN guys and some seemt o run nothing but that, and get good gains.

too dangerous for my blood.

from what I read water/alky mix 50/50 or less is not flamable which makes me a whole lot more confident having 5 gallons of it sitting in a fuel cell in the rear hatch.

not really. I have been doing tons of blasts to atap and such and I have used a little over a gallon so far.

I think under "normal" driving conditions, punching it here and there instead of every chance possible it will last me a good 3-4 months.

SMC!! SMC!! SMC!!

All the Buick guys run these kits with straight alcohol and the bottle mounts under the hood. It will make 93 octane act like 110-112 octane.

1. 110 is way too much octane for what I am doing. Don't forget too much octane slows you down. If I was pushing 24psi then sure why not, but I am pushing 5psi.

2. I built my own for just over $200 and that includes the 5 gallon fuel cell. I will be snapping pics and creating a page with the part numbers and such since I have had about a 1/2 dozen requests so far.

Stay tuned.

already have the 6psi pulley chris. thats as fast as this blower is gonna spin.

I will instead be adding heads/cam/ls6 intake and then retune <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Looking for a ~500rwhp daily driver that cost me under $5k in goodies to get there.

I'm under budget, just have to see if the power is there or not when it's all put together.
