do your engine temps go up under boost? i have only had the t-60 turbo on for about 3 weeks now, and havent been at wot much. the other day i did, and the engine temp went up to 210 very quickly. i let off the gas, and it slowly went back down to normal. is this common?

Re: do your engine temps go up under boost? I think thats about where they go under a 1/4 mile run. Now keep in mind I start out at some prettu cool temps to start with....like 150-160. My new motor NOT under boost...just cruising is running 225-230 so i think you are just fine

Re: do your engine temps go up under boost? mMine use to do that. Till I pretty much sealed the rad so air would go in there only instead of the engine bay. Also got a 180 thermo to help. The key is sealing the rad so it gets more air from the bottom.

Re: do your engine temps go up under boost? it is prolly cuz of the front intercooler blocking airflow, long as the fans cut on at 210, and it stops rising, its all good.
i never saw mine ever get higher than 210 on street or making a pass, with the 160 stat and fan settings... 12,13 psi boost at times
