that looks good, those things are spendy though.

Id be interested to see your comparison between this intake and the GMPP or Edelbock carb style intakes. I wonder which one flows more, and which one would make more power.

are you still planning on doing the comparo.
offers still open if you need that elbow

I'll dyno the intake and hopefully a single plane and keep the better of the two.

The single plane is going to make more power between 3500 and 7000. That is what I went with.

I'm working on getting an Edelbrock intake and then I will go for the comparison.

Bryan, did you compare a sheetmetal or a FAST or a LS6 intake?

Does that depend on engine size too ? Surely a bigger engine like a 408 or 427 might also benefit at lower rpm's compared to say a std sized 346 ?

Below 3500rpm, will a single plane be comparable to a LS6 intake, or worse ?

It'll be very interesting to see PSJ's comparisons. Although being an auto, will we get to see anything below about 4000rpm ?

That is very impressive. I can imagine how many hours went into making that piece. They did a very nice job. I would probably weld the top on though if it is going in a high boost car.

I have a 4500 stall converter so nothing below that. I also offered to let a few folks try my sheetmetal intake on their motors too...

Nice piece. Can you post a pic with the lid off? I'd like to see the inside treatment.

I could at some point, when we actually do the dyno test.

Harlan, my offer still stands, if you want to throw this Beck intake on the engine dyno at some point let me know.

Very impressive! How much taller is the intake than a LS6 intake?

I think we all would love to see a comparo!

That is an interesting angle for the TB? Would be interesting to see the intake on a block with heads and a TB attached to it.

Those intakes are sick! Beck did one for my friends C5R heads. It really is a nice piece.

I have lent the intake to someone who might be able to dyno it before I can.
