The fever escalated to a sickness along time ago!

We'd post pics but Mike Brown and Steve Turley taught us along time ago that we are not allowed to share!

We will evaluate all our options, Worlds, LS1 Iron, LS2, etc when the time comes. Head lifting is an obvious problem but power from current set-ups not making it to the ground effectively is also a problem.

sbf's only have 4 headbolts per cyl and they make some incredible numbers with huge boost numbers without pushing water. why can't a lsx do the same???

Default Update: It keeps getting better!

There was some misinformation in my original post (sorry). Here are the correct specs:

- 9.24" and 9.8" deck heights. (9.24 is stock)
- Will swing a 4.250" crank
- 6 bolts per cylinder (yes six!), extra bolts are at 12 and 6 o'clock.
- The WP block or heads can be used with non world heads or blocks.
- The WP block has a priority main oiling system (GM's does not). That is why they have to run such high oil pressures... The thing that needs the oil the most, gets it last (crankshaft).
- The heads will be LS-1 or LS-7/C5-R Combo (LS-7 intake C5-R Exhaust).

I'll pass any further info as I get it.

This is going to be the cat's azz!

Top Fuel dragsters use CNC billet aluminum blocks. They make 6000-7000 HP and the block do no melt. THey break a bunch of other things, but blocks generally do not fail unless a rod goes through the side.

Now THAT makes sense now. Good job World Products. I'd like to know how much meat is between the cyliders on a bore greater than 4.125".

The LSx and a SBC have the same bore spacing. WP SBC can be bored out to 4.250. Were talking 482cid with a 4.25 stroke.

The max bore for their cast iron block is 4.250. Look at their 454ci sbc.

Wow, the taller deck height sure will help out the rod ratio's! 4.125" bore, stock stroke and you are looking at 388 cubes and able to rev to the moon! I likes!!
