a 390 borere would work great for a turbo or a 417 (3.9 stroke)

A little more info for you. There is a possibility of a World Products block at SEMA with coolant jackets in them. Proposed ship date of the first prduction blocks will be 2/06 and quite a few orders are placed at this time. A World Products head will be there also, but a solid non-jacketed version for show. Chamber sizes are proposed at 58cc and 68cc options.
The Dart heads will be available in 205cc and 225cc runners as cast. Prelim 225cc tests show in the 310-315ish CFM as cast.
There will also be two other companies (not Edelbrock or All-Pro) releasing castings and assemblies not only in 205cc & 225CC versions, but also 240cc and 265cc in the LS1/6 style heads and also LS7/C5R styles. Intakes are also being developed as a complet package.
Bear in mind that with all of the aggressive packages there will be some differences. Though they will be bolt on in relation to cylinder head to block and intake to cylinder head, there will be some definite changes in the valve train area to keep geometry proper. At this time there are some folks using .200" long valves and related parts. But with some of these heads, .500" and .600" long valves will be required as well as different pushrod lengths from the norm. Some have higher valve cover sealing areas to clear most roller rockers and some are even offset. I mention this as often folks think a bolt-on is always simple and in this case there is a lot to consider in one of these aggressive head swaps. Nothing outrageous, just different then usual.
It will be an interesting trade show season to say the least. Hope this info helps. Thanks.

I hope this answers more questions. All prices are retail. I have not heard the max bore. 4.250" is the max bore on the iron block, not the aluminum. Given the cylinder wall thickness, I'm not sure you'd want to go to much past 4.125"... still, this still gives 454 ci capicaty.

youd need 36cc dish to get it to 8.3:1 with a 3.9" stroke
a 39cc dish to get it to 8.3:1 with a 4" stroke
i think you need to take some out of the head.
the heads say they have C5R intake runners any info if it would take the stadard ls1-6 style intakes?
any clearer pictures on the info sheets, my eyes hurt from trying to read those.
i didnt see the biggest bore the block will take, i think i made out it will take up to a 4.2" stroke, then calculated that with a 4.125 bore. 45X cubes.
but man does it look nice thus far.
reading the heads more i think it says it has an LS7 intake partern, can an ls6 style bolt up to that? id hope to run the carb intake.
