Why do you want to juice it with the blower on it?
There arnt to many that do that, Tybrne and HPS are the only ones i know that have nitrous with a blower.
Usally the blower will give you all the power you need.
ive been thinking about drinking from the hose after i get my turbo dialed in as best i can to give it a little more kick. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
but thats aways away.

Re: vortech s/c with 100 shot? my friend has a blown lt1 and it is fast as hell but he just added a 75 shot and wow, that is just a rush of a lifetime, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> and theres one guy in my town who has been wanting to race me for a while and i think i need the juice to beat him by a couple cars. hes got a saleen and claims to have over 680 ponies at the wheels.

Re: vortech s/c with 100 shot? Remember that when you juice a blower/turbo, you get double the hp out of the rated shot. The nitrous not only gives you more power but the intercooling effect also give you power. A 50 shot will generally give you 100-110 hp increase. Keep that in mind before you start throwing in a 100 shot.

Re: vortech s/c with 100 shot? I do not agree with the statement that your nitrous shot is doubled when you have a blower. Why would it be doubled? You're still adding the same amount of nitrous and just a ton more air on top of it. I ran my car on a dyno with what was a 45 hp increase before I had my blower and it gave me 25 hp and 45 tq with the charger. If you were going to install nitrous, popular opinion says put the nozzle after the charger and intercoolers but before the mass air meter. This applys to a dry system.

Re: vortech s/c with 100 shot? One thing I forgot to mention was that somebody said the intercooling affect of the n2o shot (not no2) gives you the added power. This is true whether you're supercharged or not. Nitrous is -127 degrees F I believe. Depending on the amount of air entering and the temp of that air, the nitrous will always decrease the temperature of the intake charge a certain amount. The air reaching the motor on a NA car will be cooler than that of a SC car since there is more air which is also hotter to spread the n2o cooling affect through. This assumes all things are equal like outside air temp, size of shot, ect...

Re: vortech s/c with 100 shot? Ok already someone do this and let me know. On a Vortech however the charger and the Aftercooler is after the MAF in the line so it could not be after both and before the other one. Would you not have some major problems and need more than stock internals???
Re: vortech s/c with 100 shot? I dont think its wise to put NOS with SC and especially if its Intercooled. If it wasnt intercooled then the NOS will definetly help to cool things down, but why do u want to put NOS when u have an Intercooler already. If u want more power get a smaller pulley, larger injectors, that should do the job.

Re: vortech s/c with 100 shot? Some people dont want to run insane power levels all the time. Being able to turn on an extra 50 - 75 HP when you need it is better than stressing your engine and drivetrain components all the time.

Re: vortech s/c with 100 shot? Just for the record I ran a 50 shot through my supercharger many times with no harm done. I was worried that it might warp the impeller but it didnt. Just dont aim it right at your impeller. Putting it right after your air filter would be good so its evenly distributed with the rest of the air.
