What injectors do ya'll use???

What injectors do ya'll use??? I was wondering what size injectors do ya'll use? My buddy at work said that the 8.1 injectors, which are 31 pound, will not support 550hp. I was also wondering when is it time to update the stock fuel pump?

Just going by your name I'm assuming these are going in a truck. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> The car injectors have different plug harnesses and might be a different physical size also(not real sure about that). Parish8 over in the truck forum got some 41# injectors from www.rceng.com that are a direct swap in the trucks. I forget who but, somebody else cut and spliced car harnesses onto their truck so they could use different injectors. Do a search over there and you'll find the threads. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

BUT... if you try hard enough im sure you could modify your fuel rail to sit a little higher and then just buy the harness adapter from shaun (valvegod) to use ls1 style injectors on the truck.

Yes these injectors are going into a truck. LS1, small cam (205/212lsa116.5), ported heads, forged pistons 9:1, and a Vortech. I hope the fuel pump holds up.
