Default Top radiator support

Does anyone have any ideas for a top radiator support? I have a Pham kit and for turbo clearance I notched the cross-piece so the evaporator and rad would sit more upright, however now a stock, or aftermarket, upper radiator support will not work. I'd like to have a solid piece to try and limit how much air goes up as I have a single small pusher fan installed. How would one go about "attaching" it to the radiator? Metal on metal I would think would make a lot of noise. Also, the more stockish it is, the better. So far I have most of the "ricers" in the area convinced that my intercooler is a huge aluminum radiator
Thanks

most use an alumium or some other type of metal sheet to cover that area.
if you bolt it down right it shouldnt make any noise, or you could fit some rubber padding between if there is any.

The BMR piece wont work with the Rad pulled forward. You can go low tech and use metal strap material from the hardware store or you can have some one bend you up something custom on a sheet metal break. Either way it wont look stock without the air box there but then again most ricers wouldnt notice anyway unless it has a sticker or some neon on it. If you make a custom piece try and use polished stainless, it is tuff and will be easy to keep clean. Using a thin aluminum that will bend crisp without fracturing might not be strong enough to hold the weight with the repeated stress cycling caused by road driving. Just speculation though.

I was thinking about making a solid piece that went all the way across the core support. And bolt it down with the holes that are already there on the core support. Should make it look very clean!

Straps can get the job done:

I'd like to get a nice solid piece that goes all the way across but I have not made it a priority. My radiator is at less of an angle than stock.

Hey BOOSTNSS, what intercooler are you using? Is your A/C removed?
