Lasted about a month before it broke.
The Speed SOM car has two runs on it.
11.6@125mph
10.7@128mph
Not bad for shakedown runs.
I wonder what it will run next weekend.
To bad I won't be there next weekend
Thats my movin' day.

I think the tune is really off. yes its wonderful that they can drive to the track drop some air out of thier tires, and run a 10.7, but I have seen a local mustang drive to the track, drop some pressure and run 9.70@143 mph. he does it at least once or twice a month too, if not more. and its only 331 cubic inches. I'm not bashing I'm just questioning the setup is all. on 15 psi, I would guestimate mid 800 rwhp?

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, everyone knows a fast Mustang that can run miracles on small cube motor. I'm sure it weighed 4900lbs on stock suspension, running on a 235 GoodYear Aqua Tread. Apples to Apples, please.
Thank you for your time.

no the mustang is a lighter model but still have full interior and on 325mm wide drag radials. this is no miracle mustang its called a good setup on drag radials less cubic inches, a tad more boost, that works, plain and simple.
I'd really like to know this cars rwhp and weight? I think the weight was mentioned. it would help me understand some things. 8 psi on a 414? that should be high 500 rwhp? maybe low 600?
i no longer own a MK8 but when i did it did 12.89 @ 111mph with nothing more then a 75 shot and a few bolt ons... @ 4300lbs...
but yea... run me.. id love to own your car

come back with a 10 second timeslip... then talk crap LATER
what kinda heads and cam? I'm not really impressed, too many unknowns about the car.

10.77 @ 128 isn't impressive? Damn, you must have a nine second car.
no doubt a 10.7 is fast... but from a 414ci huffing 8psi... im not impressed! but yes its fast...
This is not "my car is better than yours" or "your car sucks". I will not tolerate any such talk, by anyone on this thread. If you are not impressed that could be expressed with one decent sentence. Maybe a few more with detailed explanations about how you would do it better.
I’ll be posting the updated times on the website… and not here, if anyone else wished to start the conversation up again that’s fine. Please just keep it civilized.
