powerdyne numbers
Does anybody have any dyno numbers or track times with the powerdyne blowers? I have a chance to buy a kit real cheap and was thinking about it.I know it's small and a procharger is better and all that stuff but this is CHEAP and im not looking for anything toooo crazy because i have been that route to many times and i dont want to end up with another race car like i have so many times in the past. Also i know it doesnt have a cooler but i wouldnt consider forced induction without alcahol because i have used it many times before and know how good it works. Thanks John

6# kit, mac headers, water/alky.
leaking boost thru faulty silicone hose and not tuned right 419/419.
I think with a better tune and a new hose it would have hit 430.
I just did heads/cam/ls6 intake and 3" exhaust.
tuning it now. new numbers in a few weeks.

WOW i wasnt expecting that much. Right now im at 340hp/360tq and as soon as my son gets out of the hospital im going to install my TR 224 /114 cam. Then with the with the powerdyne i might see the high 400s.That would be cool.Have you ever tried runing straight denatured alky?? It works killer.

I did 435RWHP and 433RWTQ with the bone stock motor and 5#'s boost with headers, catback etc. Ran 11.4@124mph in good weather. Only changes were my flexalite fan mods and the giant air filter under the drivers side headlight. Had HPP for 160 stat and gears as well.

Also, did you have custom tuning? I am currently tweaking my car and I am hoping to near your times. I have a 2002 Firehawk with a 6lb kit and a built up fuel system. I am tuning it with LS1Edit and I am putting it on the dyno Thursday. I am prepping to meet up for a friendly run with an LT1 Stroker 396 that runs at 119 mph (he was badmouthing Firehawks and Powerdynes). I have headers ordered (1 7/8" Grotts) but I am not sure if they will make it in time.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Stock tuning with HPP for gears and thermo only.
1/4 tank of 94 octane with 3 gallons of 104 unleaded thrown in. (I bought a bosch inline pump as well)
3.73 gears in stock 10 bolt at the time with 17 inch rims and 275 tires.
11.4 run was on 26 inch slicks.
Cheers,
Chris

You think I can hit it with some stock size Nitto's

I was seeing 401RWHP and 406RWTQ with the #6 Powerdyne unit. Running 91 octane only mods Borla catback, LS1 edit, and 160 stat.
