ive been running my lc motor for about 5k miles so far waiting on the ls1motorsports kit to finish..
with all the heavy internal parts and the 8.75:1 compression i dynoed 301 horse/320 through offroad headers and a random cat back. also have 85mm maf and ls6 intake/ported tb. and a STOCK lid
guys with stock motor/compression on the same dyno and similar mods run about 360 to the wheels
the motor is an ARE 346 with stage one heads a very mild turbo cam, and custom pistons/billet rods etc.

Mine is going to be 408ci and I'm going to rev it up to 7000 rpm, and I'm also getting custom port and polished heads. I'm guessing maybe 400rwhp and 8.8:1 cr. I want 408rwhp, to get 1RWhp per CID. Does this sound at all possible?

I was just going to post this question...haha. I always wondered how much power a low compression motor could put out if you took the power adder off.
reving up your 4" stroke to 7k?
thats a bit much
6500 might be obtainable.
another guy who ran a 9:1 na motor for a while was "Reckless". he ended up sellling it to a FI guy though.

9.6 and no noticeable power loss here. Maybe even less detonation in the FLA heat. On paper it's a 2% loss here. I did advance my timing a bit too.
