Did you slot the bolt holes? Just curious as I do not know if you put some in to help the manifolds expansion contraction diffferances between the manifold and the head. I was going to cut my flange to prevent this but did not before I sold off my kit.
What size DP? 3"?

no i didnt slot the hole, didnt think i need to.

yep thats a genuine turbotech 3" DP took a lot of nagging to get it to.

Well one of the reasons the tt manifold has a tendency to crack is there is no play in the manifold and the head. The head is shrinking at a diff rate then the manifold hence cracks apear. I was told that cutting the manifold flange helps this as well as the flange doesnt force the log apart as well. Just some food for thought if it cracks. Sure am surprised that TT made a 3" dp. Only took 5 years to get them to do it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

I hope you have alot of fun with the system though

It took a lot of prodding to get the 3" dp. Why they didnt try this before is beyond me....George knows backpressure is a big problem with his kit, Also notice we have the wastegate only relieving one side of the motor. I think the log would work better if the primaries were turned a little to point towards the turbo...not hard at all to do considering the small size.
Smokinhawk...how has the ceramic coating helped with underhood heat? My drivers side gets hot!

Still gets real hot under there. I noticed that my intake tube was getting hot, but the intercooler pipe right before it was cool. I found that the heat from the turbo and exhaust radiates up and heats this inake pipe up, glad i got it coated, but id still like for it to stay cooler. im thinking of getting a raptor or firehalk hood with the heat extractors, hopefully this will keep my under hod temps down in control
